Information Security Consultant

We’re looking for an Information Security Consultant who can help strengthen our clients' security practices and guide teams in protecting our systems and data. In this role, you’ll work closely with different parts of the organisation to identify risks, recommend improvements, and support the implementation of effective security measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Review systems, applications, and infrastructure to identify security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Recommend practical security improvements, policies, and processes.
• Support secure architecture and design reviews for new and existing projects.
• Help the organisation meet compliance requirements such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, PCI DSS, or GDPR.
• Provide guidance and training to increase security awareness across the company.
• Work with IT, engineering, and business teams to put security controls into place.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience in cybersecurity consulting, risk management, or a similar security-focused role.
• Solid understanding of security frameworks, network security, cloud security, and identity management.
• Familiarity with tools like SIEM systems, vulnerability scanners, EDR solutions, and cloud security platforms.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+, or ISO 27001 are a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
